fantasyland magic kingdom

This land recently underwent a huge renovation, making it the newest of all the lands. New Fantasyland immerses visitors in their favorite magical storybook fairytales. This land has the biggest collection of attractions for very young children in the whole park, but there is something to charm everyone here.

Don’t Miss…

Fantasyland’s attractions are great for all ages. Everything is charming and family friendly. Its okay for adults to enjoy the fairy tale rides here and its a good place for youngsters to fall in love with their first roller coaster.

Under the Sea - The Little Mermaid

This slow musical ride-thru attraction takes you on a musical journey through Ariel’s famous story.  Meet Ariel herself just next door!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This family-friendly roller coaster delivers Big Thunder Mountain caliber thrills, with swinging bucket cars that are unique to this ride and not to be found on any other roller coaster in the world. It’s a fun ride almost everyone can enjoy.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

State-of-the-art widescreen 3D projection takes Donald Duck through Disney’s most memorable musical moments.

The Barnstormer

We’re convinced this is the best “kiddie-coaster” ever made. If you want your youngster to love thrill rides, this is the perfect one to start with.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

A truly magical experience for small children and their parents. Visit the Beast’s enchanted castle and have a storytelling session with the real Belle! There are some incredible audio-animatronic characters...and one really amazing mirror.

It’s a Small World

Thousands of animated dolls represent all the nations of the world and then some. The song will be stuck in your head for weeks, but when you go to the Magic Kingdom®, you kind of have to ride this ride, right?

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Updated in 2012, the Dumbo ride is now twice as big with two flying elephant carousels to accommodate more people. The modifications have made this fairly straightforward ride into something truly beautiful—especially after dark.

Casey Jr.’s Splash ‘N Soak Station

A welcome distraction for little ones who would rather play in a fountain than wait in a boring line. This train is a fun fountain splash area perfect for cooling down kids on hot Florida days.

Peter Pan’s Flight

This adventure will have you sailing through night time scenes from Peter Pan in a small flying ship. It’s designed to appeal primarily to children, but this is really a beautiful experience that adults will enjoy as well.

Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel

This carousel rivals the beauty of any in the world.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

A ride through famous whimsical scenes from your favorite Winnie the Pooh adventures.

Mad Tea Party

Another classic Disney attraction. Yes, it’s been copied by most amusement parks around the world by now, but this is the original spinning teacup ride! You can’t beat the original.

Princess Fairytale Hall

Two separate meet and greet areas fit for royalty. One queue will take you to meet Cinderella and a guest princess; the other will take you to meet Frozen’s Anna and Elsa and another guest princess. This is a great place for little ones and fans of the classic Disney movies to have a photo opportunity with some of their favorite royalty, but be warned: at the time of this writing, the popularity of the Frozen sisters means shockingly long lines. If you want to meet Anna and Elsa, book your FastPass+ long before your trip!

Special Moments

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique turns little girls into princesses for a day with full costuming available for purchase and professionally done hair and makeup. For ages 3 to 12. Call for reservations: 407- Walt Disney World®-STYLE (407-939-7895). This experience is an extra cost and is not included with park admission.

Fantasyland Dining

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Quick service at lunch, table service at dinner. Lunch or dinner, this is definitely one of those do-not-miss dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World®. Long lines form early for the chance to have lunch inside the Beast’s castle, but it’s well worth the wait. Evening dinner reservations are very hard to get—book yours as early as possible. The quick service lunch features French themed fare including sandwiches, soups, and salads, and is our favorite counter service meal in all of the Magic Kingdom®. The dinner menu features finer French cuisine.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Table service with special event pricing, this is generally the single hardest reservation to get in all of the Magic Kingdom®. It’s without a doubt the most special way to meet the Disney Princesses, and a dream come true for most little girls. It may also be the most romantic dining spot in all of Walt Disney World®, judging from the number of guests who choose this ornate banquet hall within Cinderella’s Castle to propose marriage or celebrate wedding anniversaries. Book your reservations months in advance if you want to experience this magical place.

Pinocchio’s Village House

Quick service. Features sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and other quick bites.

The Friar’s Nook

Quick service and snacks. Open seasonally, with lots of kid-friendly choices.

Fantasyland Snacks

Storybook Treats

Snacks. Ice cream treats and sweets.

Cheshire Café

Quick service and snacks. Believe it or not, this spot features breakfast cereals.
