Disney has always incorporated incredible imagination, technology, and storytelling into everything they do. Future World is a shining example of that—it’s like a big city science museum, but on steroids. There are lots of hands-on technology exhibits that lead into jaw-dropping attractions.
We’ll list Future World’s attractions first from the center complex. then left, then right moving around Spaceship Earth in the center. Along the way, we’ll introduce you to our favorite attractions and top-rated dining spots.
Future World’s Center Core
A ride through time and space that ultimately leads to your own future, this is a very clever ride suitable for virtually everyone. A hands-on technology center at the end of the ride is filled with imaginative futuristic games.
INNOVENTIONS EAST AND WEST
Lots of fun, hands-on exhibits and games. If only every museum everywhere was this much fun, school field trips would be so much more interesting!
The Sum of All Thrills
Located in the Innoventions East wing, this attraction lets you design your own thrill ride—and then ride it! Even though you are creating the ride, it is not for the faint of heart; this is a state-of-the-art motion simulator.
The Epcot® Character Spot
Meet and greet your favorite Disney characters. The Disney gang makes scheduled appearances here, so it’s a great place to get those priceless photos.
Sponsored by Coca Cola, this corner of the park features an odd selection of free soda pop samples Coca Cola provides the rest of the world. Some of the flavors are wonderful. Some not. See if you can trick your friends into trying the horrid Beverly.
The Electric Umbrella
Quick service. Specialty sandwiches and burgers, located conveniently in the center of Future World.
Fountain View Starbucks
It was a bit controversial when Starbucks first came to Disney, but it sure is nice to get an iced coffee drink to fuel your morning!
