The Haunted Mansion

Truly one of the Magic Kingdom®’s premiere attractions, the Haunted Mansion is more humorous than horrifying. This attraction was recently upgraded with some really amazing new special effects, and it’s an absolute marvel with all its creepy details. Pay especially close attention to the new set of hitchhiking ghosts near the end of the attraction. These ghosts alone are likely to make you want to get right back into line to ride through the mansion again.

The Hall of Presidents

Animatronic Abe Lincoln recites sections of his most inspirational speeches and current and former presidents appear in very realistic form. History buffs and American patriots will love this attraction, but it’s no roller coaster. People with short attention spans or fidgety kids might want to pass on this one. But patriots and history buffs will enjoy it.

Liberty Square Riverboat

Take a real turn-of-the-century steam paddleboat on a tour around Tom Sawyer Island. There’s great people watching and photo opportunities from the decks.

 

Liberty Square Dining

Liberty Square Tavern

Table service. History reenactment buffs, take note! This spot does a nice job of taking you back in time to an early American tavern with warm ambiance and hearty fare, including pot roast and a full turkey meal fit for a Pilgrim. One of the kingdom’s best sit down restaurants.

Columbia Harbour House

Quick service. This is one of our favorite counter service dining places in the Magic Kingdom®. Chicken and fish, but with a real New England flair—you can get real lobster rolls here! Be sure to say hello to the Town Crier, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. Complete your meal with the warm apple cobbler.

 Sleepy Hollow

Quick service and snacks. Light lunch fare features waffles, waffle sandwiches, funnel cakes, and ice cream. Everything is better on a waffle. The strawberries and whipped cream waffle is a delight!
